Job Description

• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems in various vehicle types, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards
• Conduct regular diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to identify electrical faults and malfunctions
• Install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, and electronic components in vehicles, adhering to manufacturer specifications
• Collaborate with mechanics and other technicians to provide comprehensive solutions for vehicle issues, enhancing overall efficiency
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technology advancements, ensuring skills and knowledge align with current industry standards
• Mentor and train junior electricians, sharing expertise and best practices to foster a skilled team environment
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize electrical issues and extend vehicle lifespan
• Review and interpret technical manuals and schematics, applying knowledge to effectively resolve complex electrical problems
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with high-voltage systems to ensure personal and team safety

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an associate degree in automotive technology is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical systems, with a focus on diagnostics and repairs
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and automotive electrical software to troubleshoot issues efficiently
