Job Purpose:

• Ensure service stability uptime of the systems under the portfolio as per the agreed SLA.
• Provide L2 support in the respective support area and act on technical escalations.
• Provide guidance and technical insights to the team for continuous improvements.
• Maintain systems in adherence with the audit and compliance requirements.
• Lead and manage the technical team supporting database platforms.
• Advise the management team to take cost-conscious decisions.

• Service uptime and better customer experience.
• Systems security and adherence to patching cadence.
• Project management and documentation.
• On-time implementation support for new baselines and policies.
• Compliance with Mashreq information security policies and security baselines.
• Database performance tuning.

Operating Environment Framework Boundaries & Working Relationships:

• 400 system hardware, 3000 Virtual machines, 1PB of storage with replication.
• Windows SCCM, Storage Integration, VMware, Windows Patching.
• 7000 users, multiple DNS zones, bulk email solutions, Azure, Azure AD, O365.
• Compliance standards like PCIDSS, SWIFT CSP, and other banking standards.
• Escalation management interacting with internal customers and external vendors.
• Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, Cloud VDI.
• 24/7 services support and on-time delivery of projects and support services.

Problem Solving:

• Problem and incident management.
• Impact and root cause analysis.
• Recommend and implement best practices and solutions.
• Adherence to standards and change management policies.
• Audit security and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Quickly resolve issues in a large-scale environment during technical snags and address performance issues.

Decision Making Authority & Responsibility:

• Make quick decisions during technical snags to avoid or reduce downtime.
• Review of documentation and applicable technical procedures.
• On-time delivery of support services in line with the SLA.
