Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced and professional Sports Facility Director for a Dubai-based padel sport venue.

The facility aims to make a remarkable impact on the padel community of UAE. It is an ultimate padel facility that offers state-of-the-art courts that are available for booking. In addition to a padel academy that offers padel coaching for both experienced and new padel players of all ages, it also regularly holds and organizes padel tournaments and events.

The Package:

  1. Tax-free monthly salary: 25,000 - 30,000 AED
  2. Performance-based bonus

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Hospitality, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 8-12 years of previous experience
  3. Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably within the sports, fitness, or hospitality industry
  4. Strong understanding and passion for Padel and the sports industry
  5. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  7. Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting
  8. Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive decision-making
  9. Proficiency in management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems
  10. Flexibility to travel to various club locations as per management request

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the performance and growth of all clubs.
  2. Oversee daily operations of each club, ensuring consistency in service quality and member experience.
  3. Manage and mentor club managers, providing guidance and support to achieve operational excellence.
  4. Monitor financial performance of each club, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  5. Implement and enforce corporate policies, procedures, and standards across all clubs.
  6. Drive member engagement and retention through innovative programs, events, and services.
  7. Ensure clubs maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.
  8. Foster strong relationships with members, staff, vendors, and community partners.
  9. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  10. Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to attract new members and retain existing ones.
  11. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  12. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on club performance, initiatives, and issues.
  13. Lead efforts to open new club locations, including site selection, staffing, and launch activities.
