Responsibilities
- Assess, Diagnose & Re/Habilitation of Speech Disorders in Children & Adults.
- Assess, Diagnose & Re/Habilitation of Language Disorders in Children & Adults.
- Assess, Diagnose & Re/Habilitation of Voice Disorders in Children & Adults.
- Work within the ENT team to deliver effective service to the patient.
- Work in cooperation with other specialists in the hospital to provide proper treatment services.
- Provide training & education to family/caregivers of the patient.
- Provide counseling services for out referral patients.
- Work as a part of the Cochlear Implant team.
- Create & carry out an individualized Treatment plan.
- Monitor the progress observed & modify treatment plan accordingly.
- Refer the patient to other specialists when required.
- Write case reports & information for other professionals who deal with the patient.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- For Bachelor Degree, three years of clinical experience.
- For Master Degree, one year of clinical experience.
- Excellent communication skills with good command in writing and speaking in Arabic as first language & English as a second language.
- Show excellent knowledge in Assessing & Treating patients with Hearing Implanted devices and Voice Disorders pre & post-Surgery.
- Follow specific instructions with a high degree of accuracy when dealing with Dysphagia patients.
- Up to date with the latest Assessment & Treatment methodology.
