Speech therapist

Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to company’s vision, mission, and core values.

3. Maintain confidentiality and avert conflict of interest.
4. Accountable for providing and maintaining a good reputation as the face of the company.
5. Represent the agency in all forms and every aspect.
6. Oversee the cash flow and financial instruments.
7. Provide physiotherapy to patients of all ages.
8. Undertake and record a thorough assessment using appropriate techniques and equipment.
9. Accompany the Clinical Manager in visiting patients’ homes to complete assessments as required.
10. Provide appropriate advice based on the patient’s medical, social, and cultural circumstances.
11. Plan and deliver individual physiotherapy treatment programs.
12. Create progress plans with the patients and their families to understand their targets and goals.
13. Communicate highly sensitive and complex information in an understandable way to the patient and their family.
14. Adapt best practices on patient care management.
15. Provide monthly reports on the cases handled along with the patient’s status.
16. Participate in developing clinical SOPs on the rehabilitation treatment of patients as per local and international guidelines.
17. Ensure the schedule provided is realistic and achievable weekly.
18. Complete progress reports and provide them to the Clinical Manager daily.
19. Respect patient confidentiality at all times and provide information only within the professional context.
20. Manage clinical risk in the homecare setting.

Essential Education & Experience:

1. DHA license – Physiotherapist.
2. Physiotherapy degree or equivalent.
3. A minimum of 3 years’ working experience.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

1. Good rapport with patients.
2. In-depth knowledge of best practices and policies.
3. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
4. Passionate about the role and caring for people.
5. Aware of the DHA homecare standards/requirements for Speech therapist services.

Care Skills: Compassion, Customer Service, Proactive Individual, Adaptability, Strong English speaking skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
