Specialized Veterinary Surgeon - Dubai United Arab Emirates

Our client Petland Wellness Veterinary Clinic is in downtown Dubai (United Arab Emirates). We seek a Senior Veterinary Surgeon preferably from the UK, Spain, Brazil, or Argentina.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior professional highly skilled Specialized Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in veterinary surgery. This role involves diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal issues in animals, performing complex surgical procedures, and collaborating with our veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform advanced surgeries including but not limited to fracture repairs, joint surgeries, and corrective osteotomies.
2. Diagnose and manage orthopedic conditions in animals through examinations, imaging, and diagnostic tests.
3. Develop and implement treatment plans including pre- and postoperative care.
4. Collaborate with other veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to provide comprehensive care.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
6. Educate pet owners on their conditions, treatment options, and postoperative care.
7. Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary surgery and integrate new techniques and technologies into practice.
8. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

1. DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent degree.
2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in veterinary surgery.
3. English advanced (you will develop your life and work in Dubai speaking English).
4. Strong diagnostic and surgical skills in orthopedic procedures.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
