Job description

What's On Your Plate

  1. Ensure parity on deals, promotions, and discounts at the in-store level is implemented in the Talabat app across all vendors.

  2. Collaborate with the Account Manager and Marketing to ensure campaigns are implemented smoothly in accordance with the marketing calendar.

  3. Ensure all deals, discounts, and promotions are accurately visualized in the app (swimlanes, category icons, banners, etc.).

  4. Collaborate with FMCG/CPG companies to implement exclusive deals for our partners in Talabat.

  5. Maximize off-take/daily orders through collaboration with vendors on deals, promotions, bundles, and discounts.

  6. Accurately forecast promotions/bundles and share with all vendor stakeholders to prevent out-of-stock incidents.

  7. Plan in coordination with the Account Manager, Key Account Manager, and Marketing to ensure correct visibility and timeline implementation of campaigns.

  8. Conduct periodic trade visits to assess new launches, existing promotions, and brand activation initiatives, and implement them on our platform.

  9. Assess each campaign, promotion, discount, and bundle, and prepare closing reports for each.

  10. Consult with internal (Regional NFV, Local Marketing) and external (Partner Category Managers, Brand Managers, Store Manager/Supervisor, and customer insights as necessary) to gain information and insights, achieving results aligned with corporate and functional objectives.

  11. Align with local marketing teams on asset and budget allocation.

  12. Responsible for sharing insights and data on campaign performance.

  13. Have a strong ability to analyze data and performance metrics related to user behavior, engagement, and conversion on our VLPs.

  14. Monitor the performance of in-app banners, swimlanes, promotions, and other VLP components.

  15. Liaise with the content team to perform A/B testing on banners and other app elements to make informed data-driven recommendations on user flows, design, placement, and messaging.

  16. Identify opportunities for additional revenue generation, create growth projects, and support/project manage the execution.

What Did We Order

  1. 2-3 years of experience in Trade Sales in Grocery Retail or FMCG; trade marketing experience is a plus.

  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (outgoing personality).

  3. Experience in project management against set deliverables.

  4. Ability to prioritize and organize workloads independently when required.

  5. Team player with the ability to work across different multimedia platforms and departments.

  6. Ability to set own priorities in line with business needs and work constructively within the team and on your own initiative.

  7. Ability to problem-solve and make things happen.

  8. Attention to detail.

  9. Ability to analyze research projects.

  10. Willingness to learn and develop with the role.
