Key Responsibilities:
- Fully familiar with international codes, standards, and recommended practices to be adopted during Pre-FEED, FEED & EPC phases of Oil & Gas projects.
- Must have the capacity to supervise and manage FEED Engineer/s and development of FEED deliverables.
- Participation with contribution during field installation, commissioning, and testing of Telecom/Telemetry shall be demonstrable during project execution.
- To review and approve engineering design activities performed by consultants, FEED Engineers, and EPC contractors for all Telecommunication/Telemetry and SCADA Systems, etc.
- To review/approve drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
- To ensure uniformity and standardization compatibility at optimum levels in design and engineering in all phases of the project.
- To evaluate tenders/bids and approve selection of equipment and systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. or equivalent degree in Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering from an accredited university.
- Thorough knowledge of Telecom/Telemetry packages, which includes but is not limited to Telecommunication infrastructures, Transmission system, Radio System, Voice and Data Networking, CCTV, Public Address, Access Control, Pipeline/wellheads SCADA Systems, and Leak Detection system generally incorporated in major Oil & Gas projects is essential.
