Position Overview

The Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing surgical conditions of the oral cavity, teeth, and jaw structures. You will be responsible for a broad range of surgical procedures and will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral and dental conditions to determine the need for surgical intervention.
2. Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
3. Perform a variety of complex surgical procedures including, but not limited to, tooth extractions, dental implants, and corrective jaw surgery.
4. Provide post-operative care and support to ensure optimal recovery outcomes for patients.
5. Remain updated on the latest advancements and best practices in oral and dental surgery.
6. Engage in continuous education and professional development to maintain high standards of care.
7. Facilitate patient education regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Requirements

1. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with a specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
2. Board certification and a valid license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
3. Extensive experience in complex oral and dental surgical procedures.
4. Strong knowledge of current trends in dentistry and surgical techniques.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
6. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
