Specialist Neurologist

We are looking for a Specialist Neurologist to join our Neurology Team.

Overview of Role:

• Provide patient focused Neurology services and ensure optimal clinical care of patients in the department in line with the clinical privileges granted.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team with a personalized and caring attitude.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to the junior clinical staff (doctors and nurses).
• Help develop, and participate in, a postgraduate training program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses and treats neurological diseases of both inpatients and outpatients, using appropriate methods in keeping with generally accepted professional standards in the specialty.
• Consults with and is consultant to all other members of medical staff as required.
• Is required to provide after-hours neurological services during weekdays and weekends.
• Provides after hours emergency internal medicine services on a rotational basis.
• Ensures optimal documentation and medical handover of patient care when required (for example at weekends or periods of leave)
• To serve on hospital committee as requested.
• To attend departmental & medical staff meetings as scheduled.
• Such other duties as are reasonably requested by the Head of Department or Chief Medical Officer.

Qualification:
MBBCH, Master or equivalent

Experience:
Minimum 3 years post specialization in Neurology

Knowledge / Technical Skills:

• BLS provider

• Critical decision making skills
• Strong customer service ethic
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• IT literate

License / Registration:

Valid DHA license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED30,000.00 - AED35,000.00 per month

Experience:

• UAE Hospital: 3 years (Preferred)
