Specialist Membership Management & Business Development

Job Purpose:

Facilitate the overall marketing, coordination and support the management of the ADSG membership, stakeholders and strategic partners. Help to strengthen the network of relationships and strategy implementation with organizations external to ADSG, to identify new potential members and coordinate engagement relationships with existing members.

Identify, establish, and manage partnerships with organizations, sponsors, and other stakeholders to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Day-to-day operations: Supervise the day-to-day operations assigned by the section manager for the ADSG to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures. Support the development of membership of the ADSG and engagement with key stakeholders.
2. Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends that align with sustainability objectives with ADSG.
3. Support the development of strategies and plans for appropriate membership services and review existing services.
4. Continuously engage ADSG members to contribute and participate.
5. Continuously follow up and monitor activity of members.
6. Manage ADSG communication (website, social media, newsletter, e-Journal).
7. Use content from members across different channels (e.g., publications, policy advocacy to government, website, content for seminars, articles for ADSG Journal, etc.).
8. Coordinate the delivery of sustainability projects to ADSG members, stakeholders, and various working groups.
9. Work under the supervision of the Section Manager and with others in the business to formulate and implement effective development plans.
10. Receive, review and develop the agenda and assess new applications for memberships and identify and assess new potential partnerships and alliances.
11. Support facilitation sessions and meetings with decision-makers in order to ensure provision of all relevant information and engage stakeholders to inform selection of appropriate member services.
12. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on matters related to ADSG in order to facilitate flow of information, ensure stakeholder engagement and build awareness.
13. Participate in promoting the involvement of the private sector, NGOs, and major interest groups in ADSG.
14. Encourage teamwork and facilitate related professional work processes in order to achieve high environmental, social and governance performance standards.
15. Report on a regular basis to the Section Manager and ADSG Director on the operational activities of the group members, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc., as required, to keep informed and updated on the group’s activities.
16. Networking: Represent ADSG at sustainability events to expand networks and promote our works and activities.

Candidate Qualifications:

Ideal candidate should hold a minimum of a Bachelor or Higher Diploma degree in Communication, Graphic Design, Marketing, or any other related field.

The minimum years of experience required is 5 years and above.
