Job Description

The role is responsible for reviewing the month-end FTP processes results, related analytics, and reporting. Responsible for the completion of user acceptance testing for integration. Expected to perform independent FTP/Data reconciliations and address the issues related to FTP. Responsible for supporting that FAB obtains optimal value from the system functionality on an ongoing basis.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Generic Accountability

1. Ensure that data meets the Treasury functions, objectives, and system specifications.
2. Define the level of data quality and ensure that the information falls within the boundaries required to meet the Treasury environment’s functions and needs.
3. Month-end reconciliation for DW/OFSAA to ensure completeness and accuracy of source information flowing to DW/OFSAA and raise any related issues to IT.
4. Monthly reconciliation of output generated from OFSAA ensuring reconciliation of the information flow to OneSumX.
5. Assist in different projects and UAT related to Finance/FTP/OneSumX.
6. Coordinate with IT on different issues related to GL/OFSAA/DW/OBIEE application and ensure proper follow-up until deliverables/resolution are met.
7. Coordinate with different units and departments regarding issue follow-up.
8. Analyze FTP reports required for automation in different Oracle applications like DW/OFSAA/OBIEE.
9. Develop a comprehensive understanding of all products and instruments within the bank.
10. Identify opportunities to improve processes to maximize value and provide best practice solutions for stakeholders.
11. Ensure end-to-end understanding of data, information, systems, and processes within the organization, from origination of information through to information consumption.
12. Perform ad-hoc analysis such as customer, product, and financial analysis, trend, and variance analysis, to provide Treasury and Finance teams with appropriate insightful and analytical reports.
13. All other support requirements in the department.

Specific Accountability

1. Support in managing all aspects of information specific to the systems that support Funds Transfer Pricing and Net Interest Margin.
2. Maintain the FTP configuration in OFSAA/month-end activities related to FTP.
3. Ensure possibly maximum automation of reports/systems - PBI/OBIEE/DW/Sumix.
4. Ensure timely and accurate monthly delivery of end-to-end FTP.
5. Maintain process documentation of funds transfer pricing internal process, operational documentation for month-end.
6. Ensure the operational execution of the relevant Fund Transfer Pricing system/s and reports.
7. All ad-hoc support assigned/required in the department/FTP.
8. Determine the input requirements relating to specific business functions, and document this in formal specifications.
9. Determine the output and reporting requirements.
10. Build information definitions and document this to form working data reporting dictionaries.
11. Explore data and information within specific functions to drive complete and accurate information development.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

1. A College or University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or other quantitative fields.
2. Experience in Banking/Accounting.
3. Understanding & Exposure to technology, Knowledge of OGL/OFSAA/OBIEE/T24/Sumix.
4. Good understanding of financial products and instruments.
5. Effective communication.
6. Ability to work under pressure.
