Provide specialist support for the review, refinement, and implementation of reporting and planning frameworks for Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), in line with local and international quality standards, while identifying opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and overall improvement in the Group's financial performance.
Key Accountabilities:
Provision of Specialist Support
- Contribute to the planning and organizing of the work for junior team members to support timely achievement of unit objectives in line with quality standards.
- Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to assigned teams to support their overall development.

Budgeting and Financial Planning Support
- Provide support with the refinement and implementation of the financial planning framework, aligned with industry best practices, to contribute to effective and efficient planning and budgeting practices.
- Participate in the end-to-end budgeting process; contribute to the implementation of required adjustments and consolidation of annual budgets, in alignment with organizational objectives for effective financial planning.
- Support senior management with preparing budget forecasts in line with the Group's established business plans, budget structure, and standards, contributing to effective revenue, cost, and capital investment estimations.
- Prepare timely, comprehensive, and accurate budgets for various business units, in collaboration with the Lead Financial & Reporting, to contribute to efficient budget planning for the Group. Generate financial and/or budgetary reports to assist senior management in making accurate financial and budgeting decisions.
- Implement financial reporting frameworks, translated into actionable plans, to contribute to accurate, timely, and reliable reporting practices across the Group.
- Generate monthly financial reports based on forecasting, projecting, and financial planning in a timely and accurate manner, aiding in providing a clear picture of the Group's financial performance.
- Collect data by collaborating with various departments for insights, conducting analyses, consolidating information, and updating rolling plans to contribute to defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for optimized performance management of reporting activities and initiatives.
- Provide specialist support in tracking financial performance against financial plans, aiding in the delivery of accurate feedback to relevant stakeholders (e.g., business line leaders), and financial results and variances, contributing to the identification of issues and timely corrective measures for optimized financial reporting.
- Prepare detailed monthly reporting packs featuring a consolidated overview of the Group's financial performance, focusing on precise data analysis and insights, to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Remain abreast of industry best practices, changes, and market trends relating to financial reporting practices to provide insight into the enhancement of the Group's financial management practices while ensuring alignment with evolving industry standards. Prepare and produce reports timely and accurately to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of financial data repositories, ensuring accessibility and accuracy, while managing documentation compliance with internal and external standards for efficient financial reporting workflows.
Business Intelligence (BI) Project Management Support
- Participate in the establishment of appropriate processes and systems for scanning, capturing, and analyzing market, business, and financial data (e.g., world markets, industry, and organizational trends, economic and technology trends, and business benchmarks) contributing to decision-making.
- Gather data from different data sources to provide core insights to senior management suggesting, creating, and executing initiatives that drive fundamental improvements to the business.
- Assess the short- and long-term strategic work plans received from business leaders to validate alignment with organizational objectives and support accurate financial forecasting.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Participate in collaborations with stakeholders contributing to comprehensive financial planning activities and delivering accurate and timely reports, in alignment with relevant standards and requirements to support the enhancement of financial decision-making and transparency across the Group.
- Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
Risk and Business Continuity Management
- Contribute to the effective implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and processes to promote a culture focusing on the achievement of world-class standards in risk management, QHSE, and business continuity in line with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support with the identification of risks related to financial reporting and planning processes, contributing to the proactive resolution of risks to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of the Group's financial planning and reporting processes.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Educational and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Overall Experience: 7 years experience in the financial services/capital markets industry, ideally with an Exchange (securities/derivatives), clearing house, central securities depository, or custody business with at least 3 years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
