Our Karama Clinic is a Multispecialty Primary Care Centre that offers high quality healthcare across different specialties, including General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dentistry along with an attached Pharmacy.

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Specialist Dermatologist to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a thriving, patient-centered environment with a focus on providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with a variety of Dermatology conditions, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to our ongoing mission of improving health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides comprehensive care to patients according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement at all times and in accordance with Al-Futtaim Group’s policies.
• Evaluating patient skin conditions by screening for disease.
• Utilizing patient medical history as part of skin assessments.
• Prescribing medication for the treatment of skin conditions.
• Performing non-invasive surgical procedures on the skin.
• Discussing diagnoses with patients, explaining treatment options, and giving advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures.
• Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients experiencing hair loss through advanced hair restoration techniques and offering tailored recommendations to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Carrying out follow-up appointments, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and medications, and updating patient records.
• Supporting patients with serious or complex skin conditions and their loved ones.
• Conducting research and studies on dermatology and its diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment techniques.

What Qualifies You for the Role:

• MBBS or MBchB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution AND Completion of specialty qualification recognized by Dubai Health Authority or Health Authority of Abu Dhabi or Ministry of Health UAE.
• Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of Dermatology.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff.
• Certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support.
• Fluency in English (speak, read and write).
• Arabic speaking skills will be an added advantage.
• Excellent Computer Literacy skills is required.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals will be well regarded.
