Specialist / Consultant Spine Surgeon Full time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist / Consultant Spine Surgeon to join our team on a full-time basis. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you can utilize your surgical expertise to provide exceptional care to patients suffering from various spinal conditions. You will be at the forefront of patient diagnosis, treatment planning, and advanced surgical interventions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with spinal disorders through physical examinations and imaging studies.
• Diagnose a variety of spinal conditions, including but not limited to degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and scoliosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that may include both surgical and non-surgical options.
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures, with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques to improve patient recovery times.
• Monitor and manage patients throughout their surgical journey, from pre-operative assessments to post-operative care and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, multidisciplinary care for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options and care pathways, including pre- and post-operative instructions.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current on advances in spine surgery and treatment methodologies.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completed residency training in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery.
• Board certification or eligibility in Spine Surgery.
• At least 5 years of experience practicing as a Spine Surgeon in a clinical environment.
• Demonstrated skills in performing a range of spine surgeries, with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and clinical judgment in treating spinal disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of spine surgery.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
