Proven experience as a Special Effects Technician, demonstrating a strong portfolio of special effects work. Familiarity with special effects equipment and tools, such as explosives, compressed air systems, control systems, and rigging. Understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to special effects implementation. Technical skills in construction, fabrication, and mechanics to build and modify special effects props and rigs. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, effectively coordinating with the production team. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address technical challenges during special effects implementation. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by production schedules. Physical stamina and agility to handle the physical demands of the job, such as lifting heavy equipment or working in challenging conditions.
