Roles and responsibilities
  • Establish good rapport with guests while maintaining appropriate guest-employee relationships.
  • Prepare treatment areas according to specifications at the end of each treatment.
  • Know the benefits, indications and contraindications of all spa services, professional and retail products.
  • Commit to follow strictly Four Seasons Spa code of Ethics, Conflict of interest and Client privacy policies.
  • Comply with Four Seasons standard culture and operational criteria and provides retail prescription cards.

What You Will Bring

  • Previous at least 5 years’ experience within the same role in a 5* luxury Hotel.
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Licensed massage therapist, holistic health practitioner is a plus.
  • Certified Therapist.

1. Providing Therapeutic Treatments

  • Massage Therapy: Perform various types of massages (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy) based on clients' needs, preferences, and physical conditions.
  • Facial Treatments: Administer facials that may include cleansing, exfoliating, masking, and moisturizing to improve skin appearance and health.
  • Body Treatments: Provide body wraps, scrubs, and exfoliation treatments that help with relaxation, detoxification, and skin rejuvenation.
  • Hydrotherapy: Perform hydrotherapy treatments, such as hot tubs, saunas, or steam baths, depending on the spa's offerings.

2. Guest Consultation and Customization

  • Consulting Clients: Conduct initial consultations to understand clients' needs, concerns, and preferences. This could include asking about their stress levels, skin conditions, or pain points.
  • Creating Personalized Treatments: Customize treatments to meet individual client needs, offering tailored recommendations based on skin type, health issues, or personal preferences.
  • Pre- and Post-Treatment Advice: Provide clients with advice on how to care for their skin or body after treatments, such as recommending products or lifestyle changes.

3. Customer Service Excellence

  • Ensuring Guest Comfort: Maintain a calm, relaxing, and professional atmosphere for clients, ensuring their comfort before, during, and after treatments.
  • Building Relationships: Establish trust with clients to encourage return visits, offering personalized service and remembering their preferences.
  • Handling Special Requests: Address guest requests or concerns, ensuring that their spa experience meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Providing Recommendations: Suggest appropriate spa services or products based on clients' needs, such as recommending specific oils, lotions, or additional treatments.

4. Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene

  • Sanitizing Tools and Equipment: Ensure that all tools and equipment are sanitized and hygienic between treatments to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Maintaining Treatment Rooms: Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., towels, oils, lotions).
  • Adhering to Health Standards: Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests, particularly in the handling of products and equipment.

5. Knowledge of Spa Treatments and Products

  • Product Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the spa's products, including skincare lines, oils, and lotions, and be able to recommend them to guests based on their needs.
  • Staying Updated on Techniques: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in spa treatments, such as new massage techniques, skin care products, and wellness practices.
  • Understanding Health and Wellness: Have knowledge of health and wellness principles, including how specific treatments can benefit guests physically, mentally, and emotionally.
