Sourcing & Procurement Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Executive with experience in the oil, gas, and commodity trading industry to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes within the UAE and Chinese markets, supplier negotiations, and commodity sourcing. Mandarin-speaking candidates are highly preferred to facilitate communication with Chinese suppliers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for oil, gas, and commodity trading requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations and timely deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with UAE and international trade regulations, procurement policies, and contractual obligations.
• Analyze procurement data and generate reports to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement in the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in oil, gas, or commodity trading within UAE and Chinese markets.
• Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin and English (Arabic is a plus).
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of oil & gas procurement, market trends, and supplier networks.
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to drive cost-effective deals and supplier contracts.
• Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in data analysis and procurement reporting.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE and Chinese trade laws and compliance regulations.
• Tech-Savvy: Strong knowledge of ERP systems, procurement software, and MS Office.
