Solutions Architect

We seek an experienced Solutions Architect with deep expertise in banking and financial services, particularly in cards and payment solutions. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working with TSYS Prime 4 and a strong background in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing payment solutions.

The role is based on site in Dubai and is initially a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end card and payment architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the technical strategy and roadmap for card issuing, acquiring, and payment processing systems.
• Provide architectural oversight for TSYS Prime-related implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable and resilient architecture.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate TSYS Prime with other banking systems, including core banking, fraud management, and digital banking platforms.
• Define and enforce best practices in API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native solutions for payment processing.
• Evaluate emerging technologies in open banking, real-time payments, and fintech innovations to drive modernization.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in banking and financial services architecture, with a strong focus on cards and payment solutions.
• Proven expertise in TSYS Prime, including configuration, customization, and integration with other financial platforms.
• Strong understanding of card issuing, acquiring, payment gateways, and transaction processing.
• Hands-on experience with API-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of real-time payment systems, SWIFT, and digital wallet integrations.
• Strong experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in an Agile environment.
