PipeCare Group [UAE] is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Lead [Salesforce software expert].

By providing technology and service focused solutions to the international arena of the oil and gas industry, the PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years.

Position Summary:

Technical Sales Lead [Salesforce software expert] will be able to provide innovative solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations, while having a strong customer focus and outstanding sales skills.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities:

  1. Analyzing current sales procedures to pinpoint inefficiencies.
  2. Implementing Salesforce tools to streamline, provide training and optimize sales workflows, ensuring the quality of input data for enhanced accuracy.
  3. Collaborating with the CEO and Territory Director to develop and execute a comprehensive sales improvement strategy.
  4. Providing ongoing support and training to the sales team on Salesforce processes, aiming to improve the quality of their input.
  5. Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators to measure the success of implemented changes.
  6. Documenting & tracking all associated inquiries received from clients.
  7. Ensuring that all new inquiries are assigned to proper project number.
  8. Obtaining approval to bid or decline.
  9. Reviewing cost estimates and proposing a price for the project.
  10. Reviewing technical proposals and submitting to Sales Director.
  11. Preparing technical proposals of strategic projects and submitting to Sales Director.
  12. Reviewing bid bond requirements.
  13. Coordinating with other departments within PIPECARE during the bidding or prequalification stage.
  14. Coordinating with logistics to ensure all logistics requirements and terms and conditions associated with mobilization and demobilization are properly identified and understood.
  15. Requesting Operations to conduct the site survey if appropriate.
  16. Updating customer information and Corporate EMS: creating enquiries timely; following the sales flow chart while bidding for a job; transferring the project timely after PIPECARE confirms the order to the client; preparing cost estimate report.
  17. Providing all relevant or requested reports to VP and/or country manager and sales director.
  18. Submitting the weekly and monthly reports to territory VP and sales manager.
  19. Ensuring all related communications associated with new inquiries are communicated to the territory Vice President/country manager.
  20. Ensuring that all tender documents are properly read and understood for the client requirements or the scope of service.
  21. Ensuring all inquiries are responded to on a timely basis.
  22. Ensuring that complete bids are submitted on time or before the target due date.
  23. Ensuring project transfers are carried out within 2 days of the receipt of confirmation from clients.
  24. Achieving the agreed sales targets.
  25. Maintaining good relationships with customers.
  26. Executing other tasks as per request of Sales and Marketing Director and other Executive Team members.
  27. Reviewing the key components of technical and commercial proposals before release from technical sales engineers.
  28. Addressing all technical, commercial & administrative concerns of technical sales engineers.
  29. Distributing the inquiries within the technical sales team evenly.
  30. Escalating all internal department approval delays to sales director.
  31. Assisting BDMs in commercial related matters.
  32. Daily checking for any new tenders on global e-tender portal and forwarding to concerned BDM & Sales Director.

Qualification:

BS/MS degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience/exposure with sound commercial skills preferably with MBA degree.

Further qualifications or extended course experience in commercial activities. Language skills, particularly English, any other languages may be advantageous.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Solid technical knowledge of ILI products and applicable industry standards.

Experience within the Oil and Gas sector (preferably) or service project-based companies.

Minimum of 5-years’ experience in commercial and technical tender preparations & monitoring.

Good Selling Capability.

Knowledge of commercial aspects of organization.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  1. Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  2. Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
  3. Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
  4. Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  5. Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
  6. Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
