Solar Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain solar PV systems (both rooftop and ground-mounted).
• Conduct electrical wiring, panel installation, and connection of inverters and batteries.
• Troubleshoot and repair solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform site assessments and assist in system design if required.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to complete installations on time.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct periodic maintenance and prepare service reports.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in solar PV installation, maintenance, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of solar PV components, wiring, and safety protocols.
• Experience working with inverters, batteries, and electrical panels is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of DEWA regulations and Dubai Municipality requirements is a plus.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred but not mandatory).
