Solar Junior Engineer

Site Management:

• Supervise the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with project designs and timelines.
• Monitor daily activities on-site and coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for smooth execution.

Design and Engineering:

• Assist in the preparation and review of detailed engineering designs, layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Support in performing technical calculations for string sizing, inverter placement, and cabling.

Project Coordination:

• Coordinate with procurement teams for material and equipment delivery to ensure timely project progress.
• Act as a point of contact between clients, project managers, and technical teams to resolve issues and queries.

Quality Control and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations, and company quality standards during project execution.
• Monitor site safety practices and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, test reports, and as-built drawings.
• Submit regular project updates and reports to the Project Manager.

Testing and Commissioning:

• Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including system testing and troubleshooting.
• Verify system performance and efficiency parameters.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, including inverters, modules, and mounting structures.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, and other solar design tools.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (IEC, DEWA, ADDC, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in solar EPC projects.
• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
• DEWA is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
