Solar Construction Manager

Accomplished Solar Construction Manager with proven track record required by renewable energy developer to manage all construction related matters to ensure successful project execution and delivery of utility scale solar projects in the Middle East. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement detailed construction schedules and budgets.
2. Procure and manage subcontractors for all construction activities, including civil works, electrical installations, and structural works.
3. Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
4. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any potential issues or delays.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures.
6. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
7. Manage and mitigate construction risks, including weather-related delays, equipment failures, and unforeseen site conditions.
8. Maintain clear and concise documentation of all construction activities.
9. Liaise with the engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
10. Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and local authorities.
11. Ensure adherence to all contractual obligations and project specifications.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction of utility scale solar PV projects.
3. Proven experience managing and supervising construction teams.
4. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
7. Experience working in the Middle East region is ideal.
8. Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
