Soil scientist

Job Title: Soil Scientist (English Speaking) - Contract Position in Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are currently seeking an experienced Soil Scientist who is fluent in English to join our team in Abu Dhabi on a contract basis. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on soil samples, interpreting data, and providing recommendations for land use and management.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct soil surveys and collect samples from various locations
2. Analyze soil samples using specialized equipment and techniques
3. Interpret data to determine characteristics such as nutrient levels, pH levels, and texture
4. Provide recommendations for land use based on findings
5. Collaborate with other team members to develop sustainable land management practices
6. Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Soil Science or related field
2. Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
3. Proven experience conducting soil surveys and analyzing data
4. Strong knowledge of land management practices and techniques
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
