Job Description

1. Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests for life insurance software applications.
2. Identify, document, and track software defects.
3. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and provide feedback on software design.
4. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
5. Conduct regression, performance, and load testing of life insurance applications.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
7. Participate in requirement analysis and design review meetings to provide insights from a testing perspective.
8. Report testing progress and results to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and documentation.

Required Skills

1. 3-5 years of proven experience as a Software Test Engineer, preferably in the life insurance domain.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
5. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
