Software Engineer - iOS

Key Responsibilities:

1. Should have worked on projects from scratch.
2. Maintain existing iOS apps, including fixing bugs.
3. Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements.
4. Able to debug memory leaks using XCode and Instruments tools.
5. Work in a fast-paced and learning-oriented environment. We love stretching the boundaries of technology.
6. Ensure quality and compliance standards within the team and make sure the team follows industry best practices.
7. Comply with Avrioc's Information Security and Information Service Management policies, procedures, and standards.
8. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of information and attend mandatory Information Security training.
9. Report information security incidents through Avrioc's established incident reporting channel.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's / master's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Min 5 years of experience in developing iOS Native programming.
3. Profound knowledge of Swift and Objective-C, expert-level proficiency in SwiftUI.
4. Knowledge of WebRTC and XMPP Frameworks is a plus.
5. 4+ years of relevant experience as an iOS Developer.
6. Solid understanding of common programming architectures, such as MVVM, MVP, and VIPER.
7. Experience in REST APIs like JSON and XML.
8. Experience in databases like SQLite (CoreData).
9. Should have worked on unit test cases and be aware of the testing frameworks.
10. Should have worked on chat, audio/video calling, or live video streaming solutions in the past.
11. Must have experience in scaling applications/services to millions of users.
12. Strong knowledge of design patterns and the ability to choose the best solution for the product.
13. Version Control/ CI: Git, Fastlane.
