Role: Software Engineer Intern - Front-End (NextJS, TS, MUI)

Duration: 4 months unpaid internship with the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer Intern specializing in front-end development with expertise in TypeScript. This internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment where you will work closely with our experienced engineering team. You will have the chance to contribute to real-world projects, enhance your skills, and gain invaluable industry experience.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and implement robust front-end solutions using NextJS, TS, MUI.
2. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to software development best practices.
3. Contribute to the architecture and design of front-end systems and services.
4. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
5. Assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues to ensure the reliability and scalability of the front-end infrastructure.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in front-end development and TypeScript.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with front-end frameworks such as NextJS, Typescript, MUI, SCSS. Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis. Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in designing and consuming them. Familiarity with software development tools such as Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Previous internship or project experience in back-end development is a plus.
