We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the social and emotional development of students, providing guidance and assistance to address any social or personal challenges they may face. The ideal candidate will have experience in youth-related social work and the ability to create a positive, supportive environment for students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Social Service.
2 years of experience in youth-related social work.
No previous experience required for UAE Nationals, but some experience in social service is preferred.
OR
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Youth Development, Sociology, or a related subject.
4 years of experience in youth-related social work.
No previous experience required for UAE Nationals, but some experience in social service is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide counseling and support services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
Develop and implement strategies to improve students' social and emotional wellbeing.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the holistic support of students.
Maintain detailed records of student interactions and progress.
Advocate for students and connect them with appropriate resources and services.
Facilitate group and individual sessions to address issues such as bullying, stress, and family challenges.
Promote positive behaviors and provide intervention strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in social service or youth counseling.
Knowledge of social work practices and child development theories.
Strong communication skills and empathy in working with children and families.
