Overall Responsibility:
The Social Media Specialist will engage and interact with all online social media platforms to increase website traffic and brand awareness in the marketplace. In addition, create content via photos, video, or other multi-media to enhance engagement on social media platforms.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
- Generate and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) which engages, builds connections and drives user action.
- Establish new and maintain existing social media platforms (Facebook, Threads, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) increasing awareness of company brand and products and driving sales.
- Monitor, edit, and respond to website product reviews, online industry forums, blogs, and general company reputation management.
- Coordinate social media marketing campaigns for various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn, etc.) which are in line with company marketing calendar including monitoring and maintaining social media schedules.
- Coordinate with various departments (customer service, marketing, executives, etc.) to maintain company, product, and brand reputation.
- Constantly compile and evaluate key social media metrics/statistics/data to improve and report on performance to upper management and through Google Analytics, and Social Media Management Tools.
- Continuously monitor company and platform best practices.
- Photograph products for use in various marketing campaigns; eye for detail and creativity in advertising the product.
- Create, edit, and publish product videos featuring HAIX footwear.
- Record, edit, and publish webinar videos with the assistance of the Marketing Copywriter.
- Work with influencers on sponsorship promotions to build awareness of products and events.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Positive, cooperative attitude
- Customer oriented
- 1-3 years’ experience working in social media or related field
- Photography, editing and videography experience required
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
- Strong computer skills
- Proficient knowledge of Word and Excel
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Well-developed organization skills
- Satisfactory knowledge of web design, web development, conversion optimization, and SEO
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and change of direction
