Job Description

As a Social Media Specialist, you are expected to have knowledge and experience in account management as well as content creation. You will also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing clients. In this role, you will start incorporating more team-related tasks in order to grow into an account manager. You are expected to strategize, brainstorm, and present pitches and campaigns with senior team members.

What You'll Do (But not limited to):

1. Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies
2. Take on more strategy-led tasks (for example, support junior team members in improving overall account management)
3. Support with pitches when possible
4. Onboard and train interns and juniors
5. Measure the success of social media campaigns and report monthly
6. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
7. Use social media marketing tools
8. Work with departments to ensure content is valuable, engaging, and always bar-raising
9. Create engaging and professional visuals that reflect clients and their brands. Customize social media pages (ex. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube), develop supporting offline collateral, create original content, etc.
10. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of required projects and campaigns according to clients' needs and objectives.
11. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
12. Collaborate with various teams to ensure business objectives and targets are met
13. Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
14. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
15. Support account managers with account tasks

1. Proven experience in social media management and content creation
2. Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and marketing tools
3. Ability to develop and implement effective social media strategies
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills
5. Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
6. Strong teamwork and leadership abilities, with experience guiding junior team members
7. A creative mindset with the ability to brainstorm and contribute to pitches and campaigns
8. Knowledge of analytics tools to measure campaign success and optimize strategies
9. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients
10. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling client requests or escalations
