Job description

Responsible for growing our online presence across MEA. Responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across various social media platforms, as well as analyzing and reporting on the performance and engagement of our campaigns. Will work closely with Social Media agencies, other teams, and stakeholders to align our social media strategy with our brand identity, marketing goals, and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with our brand voice, values, and objectives.
  2. Create an annual social media calendar highlighting hero content, sub-hero content, and hygiene content on a monthly basis.
  3. Create and curate engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
  4. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews from our online community.
  5. Ensure effective community management and social listening are in place to ensure customer feedback is assessed at all times.
  6. Analyze and report on the performance and effectiveness of our social media campaigns using various tools and metrics.
  7. Identify and leverage the latest trends, best practices, and opportunities in social media.
  8. Collaborate with other teams and departments, such as marketing, sales, customer service, and product development, to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand message across all channels and across the geographies.
  9. Research and evaluate new social media platforms, tools, and strategies to increase our reach and engagement.
  10. Execute company-wide social media policies for employees, highlighting dos and don'ts.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in public relations, communication, journalism, or a related field. Languages: English, Arabic, and French are a must.

Experience

  • Banking, Payment, and Financial services background is preferred, with relevant knowledge of Fintech products' value propositions and familiarity with technical content.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in managing social media accounts for a brand or organization similar to the companies.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to adapt to different tones and styles.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with a strong eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Proficient in using various social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices, trends, and algorithms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Passionate about social media and our brand.

Other Skills:

Ability to understand complex processes and technologies, and translate into simple concepts (written, graphical, and verbal). Great writing and communication skills - an ability to understand technical concepts and translate to market-level comms in collaboration with our business partners and partner agencies. Teamwork mindset and good organization and time management skills. Great Presentation skills with advanced knowledge of office management tools and applications.
