We are looking for a Social Media Manager, who can handle the day-to-day social media posts. Working proactively to meet your deadlines and to work as an organised multitasker. You will be responsible for assisting with the planning of marketing strategies to grow online sales traffic and engagement. Strategies will consist of, posting daily content for continual growth, using images while posting on our Instagram and Facebook, running a campaign, and leveraging social reviews to automate influencer marketing.
In this role, you need a lot of passion, outside and inside the box, creative thinking and a strategic mind to be smooth in this particular role. You will have the opportunity to develop in the company if you are your social media tasks produce effective results.
Responsibilities:
Respond to any mentions over social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube and engage with social media users
Work with the Marketing team to make sure that paid social content is optimised for best performance and participating in writing and editing
Ensure that customer service issues are engaged with and responded to in a timely manner
Regularly monitor competitor social media sites and create competitor analysis reports
Produce a consistent brand message across all the social media channels
Work with other departments to develop social media timelines that coincide with the themed events, product releases, ad campaigns, and other brand messages
Analyse social media campaigns with tracking systems to determine areas for social media campaign improvement and to gather visitor’s data
Coordinate with the in-house team (graphic designer, content etc.) to have social media posts ready
Manage day-to-day handling of Social Media channels, adapting content to suit each channel
Develop, launch, and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote the organisation
Form key relations with influencers across Social Media Platforms
Undertake audience research
Recommend improvements to increase performance
Requirements:
BA degree in Business, English, Journalism, Media or Marketing (or relevant experience)
Good understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising/branding and customers
Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
Day-to-day social media posting and engagement experience
Experience in Photoshop, Excel and other online basics
Experience in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat and emerging social networks
Good knowledge of social media analytics tools
Ability to create authoritative and persuasive texts. Strong editing and writing skills suitable for each platform
Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
A high level of self-motivation, commitment and dedication
An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately
Excellent teamwork and networking skills.
A keen interest in photography and design aesthetics would be preferred.
