Location: Abu Dhabi

Duration: Full time/Part Time/Freelance/Remote

The Social Media Manager will ultimately be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and reporting the client's social media strategy for a well-known Abu Dhabi brand. Ensuring that the client's social media campaign KPIs are aligned with the marketing objectives.

Operational

Digital Experience

  1. Digital knowledge and experience managing digital ad campaigns preferred
  2. Understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Social Media
  1. Experience designing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on ad campaign's performance essential
  2. Experience with Facebook and Google advertising and analytics

Ensure delivery of Social Media planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting steps are followed:

Social Media Strategy
  1. Review competitor's social media
  2. Set clear and specific goals and objectives for all social media channels individually
  3. Discuss key themes and messages
  4. Discuss content style
  5. Discuss graphic style
  6. Discuss and develop video style
  7. English vs Arabic
  8. Knowledge of Key dates (International and National days)
  9. Meet with client to review social media strategy
  10. Approve final social media strategy with client and Digital Qube
  11. Ensure final client sign off before proceeding with campaign

Campaigns
  1. Suggest campaign themes and promotional ideas for social
  2. Produce Campaign calendar high level
  3. Review incentives and competitions
  4. Develop Project Plan & Handover dates
  5. Boosting strategy High level
  6. Agree on last minute request timeline
  7. Review
  8. Approve
  9. Sign off

Posting
  1. Write posts
  2. Discuss posts with graphic designer
  3. Create design with image preview
  4. Send first draft
  5. Review
  6. Update edits
  7. Finalize design
  8. Purchase images
  9. Review

Community Management
  1. Agree strategy for managing the online community
  2. Set up discussion boards
  3. Write guidelines for responding to comments
  4. Agree approach
  5. Write standardized answers
  6. Social media guidelines and policy
  7. Branded style for posts
  8. Tone of voice
  9. Discuss
  10. Agree

Reporting
  1. Reporting (daily, weekly)
  2. Analytics Reports

Relationship Management
  1. It is essential to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring cultural sensitivities are respected.
  2. Work closely with client and graphic designer for delivery of digital assets
  3. Social media reporting - monitor, analyze and prepare social media reporting, ensuring campaign KPI's are aligned with campaign objectives
  4. Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

Personal Specification
Minimum Experience
  1. Demonstrated experience creating, implementing and monitoring social media campaigns
  2. Weekly reporting on social media campaign performance KPIs and ROI
  3. Ability to work with multicultural teams in a professional manner
  4. PowerPoint and Excel
  5. Ability to interpret reports from Google, Facebook and Adobe analytics
  6. Social media experience managing social media ad campaigns and reporting
  7. Ability to write authentic copy that is reflective of the tone and voice of the client's brand
  8. Ability to work closely with client and graphic designer to deliver creative assets required
  9. Strong relationship management skills with Internal and External stakeholders
  10. Strong communication skills
  11. Ability to identify potential negative or crisis management situations across client's social media platforms
  12. Continual monitoring of client's competitors' social media platforms
  13. Ability to translate and communicate data into actionable items
  14. Excellent time management skills
  15. High attention to detail
  16. Ability to work under tight deadlines
  17. Excellent English spoken and written

Min 1-4 years of Digital and Social media experience
Diploma level as a minimum
  1. Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.)
  2. Proficient in Facebook and Google analytics
