Job Title: Social Media Manager (JPC-3409)

Location: Abu Dhabi

Experience: 5 + years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on events and entertainment companies/clients.

Industry: Entertainment

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields.

JOB PURPOSE OVERVIEW: Strategically plan and execute events social media campaigns and presence, ensuring alignment with events broader marketing strategy and approach. This role focuses on enhancing brand awareness, audience engagement, and driving sales through effective social media strategies and approaches.

Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies and campaigns to promote events, enhance brand awareness, and engage fans through different channels.
  2. Manage reporting on campaign performance and optimization.
  3. Regularly assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns using analytics tools, deriving actionable insights to refine strategies.
  4. Ensure all social media activities remain compliant with industry standards and best practices.
  5. Manage the social media agency with the support of the social media specialist.
  6. Provide guidance and support to more junior team members.
  7. Represent events brand values and ethos across social media platforms, ensuring collaboration and consistent messaging between different organizational functions.
  8. UAE based with domestic and international travel as required.
  9. Remote working permitted in line with Human Capital policies.
  10. Advanced degrees or certifications in social media or digital marketing are an added advantage.
  11. Stellar communication and content creation skills.
  12. Capacity to operate independently and manage multiple social media profiles concurrently.
  13. Collaborative nature with an ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
  14. Mastery over various social media platforms and management tools.
  15. Familiarity with social media analytics tools and understanding of key performance metrics.
  16. Foundational understanding of broader digital marketing tools and strategies, such as SEO and email marketing.
  17. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

DETAILED ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES - SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL CAMPAIGN/ Corporate and Events

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies and campaigns to promote FFS, JV and any relevant new business events to increase engagement and raise brand awareness.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscape, and use insights to enhance marketing strategies and tactics.
  3. Design a holistic social media campaign strategizing content pillar, channel approach, and audience targeting.
  4. Collaborate with the Marketing Director to ensure alignment of social media campaigns with broader marketing strategy and approach.
  5. Conduct detailed reviews of social media performance metrics and refine and adjust strategies based on the insights and campaign’s performance.
  6. Oversee day-to-day social media specialist work and deliverables ensuring brand reputation is maintained and audiences are engaged.
  7. Work closely with the marketing wider team to ensure that social media campaigns are synergized with overarching marketing strategies.
  8. Manage the on-ground team and ensure smooth delivery and coordination with different stakeholders.
  9. Deliver post-event reports for future considerations and learning for all stakeholders.
  10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with social media agency and stakeholders to maximize reach and ticket sales.
  11. Manage the client relationship and lead meetings with clients and IP owners.
  12. Execute grade requirements according to the Delegation of Authority (“DoA”) while delegating tasks when appropriate.
  13. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements and the Company’s governance structures.
  14. Execute requests from reporting line i.e. requests within the broad scope of the roles and responsibilities of this job description.
