Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Position Overview: Salt is partnering with a global brand to find a highly skilled and innovative Social Media Manager. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry, including expertise with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the agency’s digital presence and driving impactful social media strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Development:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's branding and marketing objectives.
    • Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to drive innovative social media solutions.
  2. Campaign Execution:
    • Design and implement effective social media campaigns to drive engagement, increase brand visibility, and generate leads.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality content, including graphics, videos, and promotional materials.
  3. Content Management:
    • Oversee the creation and management of engaging content across all social media platforms.
    • Maintain and manage content calendars to ensure timely and effective posting.
  4. Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of social media professionals, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing feedback and support.
    • Foster a collaborative environment to maximize team performance.
  5. Analytics & Reporting:
    • Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign success and refine strategies.
    • Prepare detailed reports and insights for senior management, offering strategic recommendations based on performance data.
  6. Community Engagement:
    • Engage with the audience on social media platforms, managing interactions and fostering positive community relationships.
    • Collaborate with influencers and industry partners to enhance brand credibility and expand reach.
  7. Market Insights:
    • Stay updated with the latest trends in social media and travel industry developments.
    • Conduct competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and optimize strategies.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 7 years in social media management with a strong background in the travel, tourism, or OTA sectors.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in deriving actionable insights from social media data.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and creative skills.
  • Deep understanding of travel and tourism trends and audience behaviors.
