Job description

Job Title: Social Media Manager

In this role, you will:

  1. Develop and execute a dynamic social media strategy, leveraging existing and emerging platforms to increase brand visibility;
  2. Act as the face and voice of the brand by creating engaging video content, hosting live sessions, and participating in trending social media conversations;
  3. Create compelling, high-quality content (videos, reels, stories, posts) that resonates with the target audience and aligns with the brand identity;
  4. Ideate and implement creative campaigns that enhance audience interaction and drive engagement;
  5. Work closely with the design, brand marketing, and sales teams to develop detailed content calendars;
  6. Stay updated on trends, social media algorithms, and platform best practices to optimise content reach and engagement;
  7. Monitor social media conversations, engage with followers, and respond to queries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner;
  8. Identify and collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators to expand the brand's reach;
  9. Analyse social media insights and performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement;
  10. Keep an eye on competitor activities and industry trends to ensure the brand remains ahead in the social media landscape;
  11. Ensure brand consistency in messaging, visuals, and tone across all platforms;
  12. Test and implement new social media tools, features, and trends to enhance brand engagement;
  13. Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns in collaboration with the digital marketing team.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in media, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field;
  2. 2-3 years of relevant experience in social media management, content creation, or a related role;
  3. Experience in creating video content and being on camera is a must;
  4. Prior experience in real estate or a similar industry is a plus;
  5. Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices;
  6. Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools;
  7. Familiarity with video editing software and content creation tools;
  8. Strong video creation and storytelling abilities;
  9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  10. Ability to engage and connect with audiences authentically;
  11. Creativity in producing compelling and high-quality content;
  12. Organisational skills with attention to detail;
  13. Energetic, confident, and charismatic personality;
  14. Self-starter with a proactive approach to content creation;
  15. Adaptable to evolving social media trends;
  16. Collaborative mindset with a passion for community engagement;
  17. Good sense of humour.
