Position: Interim Head of Sustainability
He/She plays a vital role in embedding sustainable practices within a company’s operations, improving environmental impact, and enhancing social responsibility. The role requires strong leadership, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
Main Tasks:
- Corporate strategy development
- Investment strategy development and execution
- Labor scheduling in ground handling and cargo operations with a strong knowledge in best practice processes and advanced technological solutions (e.g., workforce automation, AI-assisted staff scheduling)
Advanced Technologies for Staff Scheduling:
Provide expert guidance in identification, impact and feasibility assessment of available/emerging labor scheduling solutions (e.g., AI-based scheduling tools, geolocation, and telematics solutions) based on the client’s context.
Organization Structure:
Provide organization structure benchmarks from global peers (Swissport, Menzies, dnata, SATS).
Support in Deliverable Development:
Provide guidance to the project team to produce key deliverables.
Client Engagement:
Participate in workshops, team meetings, and client presentations, providing expert guidance throughout the project.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory 15 years of experience ESG with Airlines experiences. If no airline, then other aviation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
- Fluency in English; Arabic nice to have.
- The candidates should have held senior leadership positions (e.g., CEO, CFO, Chief Strategy Officer, Head of Corporate Development/M&A, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Commercial Officer) in one of the following companies: Swissport, Menzies, dnata, SATS.
