We are now looking for a Senior Smart Plant 3D Administrator to execute projects and support bids in Navi Mumbai office, India.
Reports To
The Smart Plant 3D Administrator reports to the appointed project manager.
Job Overview
The Smart Plant 3D Administrator is responsible for handling set up and administration tasks related to the assigned major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in oil & gas.
In your role, you will execute Smart Plant 3D set-up & configuration, user training & deliverables in projects in a safe manner, budget, schedule, and quality.
You should have a desire to work on multi-discipline local as well as overseas projects and be able to drive discipline goals by working together with assigned discipline designers and engineers.

Responsibilities and Duties S3D
- Set-up and maintain projects environment in SP3D.
- Set-up and maintain reference database for SP3D by Smart plant Reference Data.
- Prepare Piping ISO and GA Drawing Templates for all disciplines.
- Prepare MTO interface file for Smart Plant Materials as a product.
- Prepare clash check and various kinds of report and model review file for checking the quality of 3D Models.
- Set up global workshare for MSSQL and Oracle for Smart plant 3D.
- Follow department and client drafting methods and standards.
- Create auditing requirements and checking for quality assurance of the design efforts.
- Co-ordinate and/or negotiate with clients, vendors, and other discipline engineers for SP3D related problems.
- Maintain and verify daily backup routines.
- Help develop automation enhancements.
- Create reports as per project requirements.
- Training to designers in all Discipline modules in SP3D. Instruct and coordinate piping designer and SP3D operator.
- Design accurate system designs, in a given time period, adjusting to project requirements.
Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate (BEng, BSc. or MSc.) in Mechanical or Technical related degree.
- Working experience with ADNOC group is an added advantage.
- Intergraph certified Smart plant 3D Designer/System administrator is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years relevant engineering experience in providing engineering design application support in the Oil and Gas/Petrochemical Industry.
- Good leadership and coordination, analytic and pro-active approach competence in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical Industries.
- Experience with SPRD, SPR, Smart sketch, Navisworks Manage is required to be successful in this position.
- Integration & correlation with SPP&ID, S3D, SPI, SPEL experience with SPF.
- Smart 3D upgrade experience is mandatory.
- Strong aptitude for project planning and implementing new design software.
- Knowledge of VB (.NET) programming and MSSQL/ORACLE queries will be considered an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must-have to effectively work with the engineering disciplines.
- Ability to effectively conduct training sessions for new users.
- Willingness to overcome challenges and pressure during the peak of the project.
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical, instrumentation, and CAD support.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in the English language.
