Minimum years of experience: 10 years – UAE experience in Engineering Consultancy mandatory.

A Site Surveyor on the consultant side in the UAE ensures construction projects comply with design specifications, local regulations, and quality standards. Their role is vital in maintaining precision, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory and project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting detailed land and site surveys to gather accurate data for design and construction.
• Verifying site measurements to ensure alignment with project drawings and specifications.
• Establishing and maintaining control points and benchmarks on-site.
• Checking the contractor's survey work to ensure accuracy and adherence to the design drawings and specifications.
• Inspecting the alignment, levels, and dimensions of work completed on-site.
• Ensuring all construction activities comply with local authority regulations and standards.
• Collaborating with design teams to address discrepancies between site conditions and design documents.
• Liaising with contractors and other site personnel to resolve technical issues and clarify project requirements.
• Preparing detailed survey reports, including as-built drawings and deviations from the design.
• Maintaining accurate records of survey data, including coordinates, levels, and alignments.
• Ensuring all surveying work is conducted in compliance with UAE municipal and authority guidelines.
• Adhering to health and safety standards while conducting on-site activities.
• Assisting project managers and engineers in interpreting survey data for effective decision-making.
• Providing input during site inspections and progress reviews.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in surveying tools and software like Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
