Site Sr. Architect Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Following up Site construction according to Contract drawings & Technical Specifications.
2. Checking and commenting Contractors Shop drawings and answering Contractors RFIs.
3. Study and analyses various finishing material submittals & sample materials.
4. Resolving site coordination problems between Architectural, Structural & MEP disciplines.
5. Revising Design Drawings and Architectural Details.
6. Representing the site team in meetings with the Client for progress and technical details.
7. Supervising site works including issuing site instructions and NCRs.
8. Reviewing Material submittals, method statement & specifications.
9. Site inspections for finishing work regarding to specifications.
10. Reporting to the Resident Engineer on a regular basis regarding progress, design, quality & site issues.
11. Responsible for the checking of proposed design CAD drawings and other related Detailed Drawing accuracy prior to release of these drawings for construction implementation.
12. Responsible for monitoring quality of executed works in the construction site.
13. Ensure the coordination with the project stakeholders from the conception of the project, development stage and realization of the final product.
14. Support the Project Director in liaison & communication with the Client, Stakeholders regarding the functionality and feasibility of the project.
15. Control and develop a Comprehensive Reporting System and liaise with the Client, Authorities and Media.
16. Review, make decisions on public safety issues related to design and control the Project Management Team.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. Min 15 years’ experience required in related field.
3. Min 7 years consultancy experience.
4. Min 10 years Dubai experience.
5. Candidates must have sound knowledge about the site procedures.
6. Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations, with a focus on compliance and safety standards.
7. Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus to enhance communication with diverse teams.
8. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure to resolve site challenges effectively.
9. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members in a dynamic environment.
10. Detail-oriented mindset with a creative flair to innovate and improve design processes.
11. Physical ability to conduct site visits and assessments, including the capacity to navigate varying terrains safely.
