Assist the Senior HSE Engineer in operational activities
Implement risk reduction measures
Support operation teams to meet site/project HSE targets and objectives
Participate actively in the development and implementation of risk assessments for operations
Assist implementation of project environmental plans and studies such as HSEIA, CEMP, EIA, etc., for the respective projects
Support HSE Officers and Assist Senior HSE Engineers to ensure adherence to Environmental Management Plans
Conduct environmental inspections on various project sites
Ensure adherence with CEMP specifications, mitigation control plans, waste management, carbon footprint/emissions calculations, and federal and local regulations
Deliver training/awareness sessions on relevant environment-related procedures and standards
Conduct project and section/department audits in compliance with ISO 14001 and legal requirements
Assist investigation of environmental incidents to identify root causes and provide recommendations
Assist emergency response team for site/project
Provide HSE guidance to the Line management on all HSE issues
Determine the HSE impacts on scope, schedule, and strategy for the methods applied in Project
Assess HSE requirements for each work scope
Review project FRA’s
Follow up on HSE observation close-out status
Prepare weekly and monthly KPI reports
Screen and interview potential Sub-Contractors for HSE personnel, qualifications, and competency
Verify the HSE Plan implementation
Verify the employees' competencies in HSE, including Sub-Contractor Management
Lead Site HSE campaigns, mass TBT, periodic meetings, and on-site walkthroughs
Verify Sub-Contractors of HSE performance and implementation of NMDC standards
Define HSE milestone
Plan and execute audits
Assess leading and lagging indicators, including analysis of the HSE Tracking registers
Interface with Project stakeholders all relevant HSE Issues
Verify that quality HSE induction (e.g., HSE Induction and Emergency Response E-Learning) and training plans are in place
Minimum Requirement:
Minimum 03 years' experience in a similar role and industry
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Science, or equivalent
General HSE certificate in NEBOSH / IOSH is preferable

Industry-Specific Regulations: Being familiar with the specific HSE requirements for your industry, whether it’s construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, or healthcare.

Creating HSE Policies: Developing and establishing health, safety, and environmental policies and ensuring that they align with legal requirements and company goals.
Program Management: Overseeing the implementation of safety programs, ensuring that they are effective and adhered to by all employees.
