Site Engineer-Marble Trading

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading Marble Distribution company in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing marble installation projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality standards, safety compliance, and timely delivery. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for precision in construction and finishing work.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, manage, and oversee marble installation projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
2. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to determine project requirements and expectations.
3. Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate the progress of work and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
4. Prepare detailed project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets to track project performance and communicate progress to stakeholders.
5. Supervise and lead a team of laborers and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality craftsmanship.
6. Utilize engineering principles to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
7. Maintain a thorough understanding of materials, tools, and techniques used in marble installation and finishing work.
8. Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the company's high standards and client expectations.
9. Assist in the procurement of materials and tools necessary for projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
10. Stay updated with advancements in marble technology and installation techniques and incorporate best practices into project work.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in site engineering or project management within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on marble or stone installation.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and engineering principles related to marble distribution and installation.
4. Proficient in project management software and tools with the ability to create and manage project schedules and budgets effectively.
