POSITION TITLE

Site Engineer

Job Summary: Site engineer is part of the site management team and takes responsibility for security, health and safety, and organizing and supervising materials and people. The site engineer marks out the site, ensures designs are applied correctly, and liaises with main and subcontractors and the site manager. The site engineer performs a technical, organizational, and supervisory role on construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Day-to-day management of the site including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
  2. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
  3. Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
  4. Monitoring and interpreting the design and drawings supplied by the client.
  5. Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
  6. Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
  7. Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
  8. Preparing reports as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Diploma
12 years experience in UAE

Qualification:

BE / DCE

Desired Professional / Exposure or Experience:

One Year/Two years
