Company Overview:

Our client, a leading fit-out contractor based in Dubai, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Fit Out Site Supervisor/Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Position Overview:

As a Fit Out Site Supervisor/Engineer, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of fit-out projects, overseeing site teams and coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and clients. Your extensive experience in the fit-out sector will be key in ensuring smooth project execution and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage site activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and in line with specifications.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure their work meets the company's standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Coordinate site operations, monitor progress, and resolve any issues that arise during the course of the project.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and ensure compliance with design and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and any changes to project timelines or budgets.
• Assist in managing project costs, ensuring that the project remains within budget and financial targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting safety meetings and reporting incidents as necessary.
• Liaise with clients and consultants to ensure expectations are met and address any concerns on site.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in fit-out contracting (non-sales roles), with a proven track record in site supervision or engineering roles.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
• Strong experience working with top-tier contractors in the UAE’s fit-out industry.
• A minimum of 4 years' service with each of your previous employers.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, site management software, and project management tools.
• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field is a plus.
