Your role

You will be responsible for supervising construction sites, ensuring that a construction project is completed on time and within budget. As part of the technical team you will also align with the PM in charge and proactively resolve details, propose solutions and effectively drive the project to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating suppliers and subcontractors on site and organising their activities
• Sending suppliers and subcontractors up-to-date technical and project documentation
• Checking and monitoring the works schedule
• Constantly checking what is being built against the project specifications and the expected quality standards
• Coordinating Health & Safety on site, reporting any irregularities and non-conformities
• Managing site reporting
• Coordinating site deliveries and work progress

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering/Architecture or Diploma in Surveying
• At least 5-year experience of site management in the Middle East
• fit-out experience essential, Previous work experience in the UAE interior construction industry, hig-end retail fit-out experience in Malls highly desiderable.
• Experience in complex construction sites is an advantage
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
• Willing to travel in the middle east for medium to long term assignments
• Immediately available in UAE a plus
