Site Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Electrical Engineer to join our team to oversee electrical projects on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and dynamic individual with a strong background in electrical engineering. They will be responsible for managing and coordinating all electrical activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and adhere to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate all electrical activities on construction sites, including planning, scheduling, and supervising the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop cost-effective and innovative solutions for electrical systems.
3. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and regulations.
4. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems according to project timelines.
5. Manage and mentor a team of electricians and technicians to ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
6. Monitor and analyze project progress to identify potential risks and create mitigation plans.
7. Develop and maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports, as-built drawings, and project schedules.
8. Responsible for implementing safety protocols and ensuring all work on site meets safety standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction site electrical engineering.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and maintenance.
4. Experience in project management and team leadership.
5. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
7. Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.
8. Familiarity with AutoCAD and other electrical design software.
9. Valid electrical engineering license.
