Site Civil Engineer

Job Description

• Project Execution: Oversee daily site operations, including construction, installation, and maintenance activities.
  Ensure that all work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  Monitor project progress and provide updates to the project manager and stakeholders.
  
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control checks to ensure construction materials and work meet design and safety requirements.
  Identify and address potential issues to avoid project delays or defects.
  
• Site Coordination: Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
  Supervise site workers and ensure effective utilization of manpower and resources.
  
• Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring a safe working environment.
  Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, materials used, and work progress.
  Prepare and submit reports to project management and stakeholders.
  
• Material and Equipment Management: Monitor the delivery and use of construction materials and equipment.
  Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of resources.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 4 years of experience in construction site management or civil engineering projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project, and other construction management software.
  Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  

Additional Requirements

• Having a Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Health and Safety (NEBOSH/OSHA) is an advantage.
