Shop Supervisor
Job description
- Ensure Guest and Colleague satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service are the spa's top priorities
- Perform supervisory duties including leading, coaching, performance management, counseling, scheduling, and supervision of staff
- Promote sales of spa services and retail utilizing your extensive knowledge of all products and services
- Coordinate support staff schedules and time off requests/trades to ensure adequate staffing
- Assist Experience Coordinators and Attendants as needed throughout the day and as coverage for sick calls
- Assist Spa Manager with facility maintenance and work orders to ensure peak operational performance
- Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors including locations, product offerings, pricing, and promotions
- Administer and implement spa operations training (i.e. telephone etiquette, guest relations, sales, services, etc.)
- Perform Spa tours for potential clients as needed
- Support the fitness coordinator with wellness offerings and the maintenance of the Fitness Center
- Maintain close and effective working relationships with other departments
- Maintain an atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
- Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Promote and enforce health and safety awareness as well as have a complete understanding of the emergency procedures
- Establish, update, and adhere to hotel and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
