Shift Supervisor

Purpose
To supervise and coordinate the mill process from wheat silo to bulk out loading and packing. Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the operations of three roller flour mills. He/she must ensure that all processes are carried out in accordance with the company's policies on Quality and Food Safety standards while meeting the goals of customer satisfaction and budget targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate production and packing schedules based on customer demand and plant capacity.
• Coordinate with Team Leaders and maintenance supervisors for all repairs and maintenance activities.
• Continuously monitor mill performance to ensure it meets expectations in relation to quality, productivity, efficiency, stock levels and cost efficiencies.
• Improve operations efficiency and productivity, including implementation of cost reduction programs.
• Ensure plant meets Company’s GMP and 5 S standards.
• Ensure implementation of TQM and other continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and cost savings.
• Ensuring the health and safety of the team throughout the entire production process, in coordination with HSE Team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in engineering.
• Minimum 6 years functional experience, out of which a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position.
• Advanced training/certification in flour milling processes.
• HSE/GMP/Essential Food Safety training.
• Good knowledge of milling and production processes.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Planning and organization skills.
• People management skills.
