Session Lead (External Contractor) - Generative AI for Business Leaders Nanodegree (UAE)

Required skills/qualifications:

1. Comfortable supporting learners in the UAE timezone
2. Technical competence: Hands-on experience with various ML concepts using Python, basic understanding of AI concepts such as neural networks, familiarity with generative models like GPT (Generative Pretrained Transformers), DALL·E, BERT and their applications in a business context, prompt engineering, data analysis experience, strategic thinking.
3. 2+ years of working experience related to the above skills.
4. Graduate from the Udacity Nanodegree Program is an added plus.
5. Experience teaching technical concepts and public speaking.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to lead a group of students.
7. Students-oriented mindset and focus on understanding their problems.
8. Innovative approach and proactivity with students that need help.
9. Positive character, trusted by the students, creating emotional ties in the group.
10. Existing tech network and experience in technical conversations & discussions.
11. Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
12. Flexibility at their current job to take this challenge as a part-time, external contractor.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing weekly Connect sessions with students according to Udacity guidelines.
2. Creating the Udacity Connect session agenda & notes.
3. Coordinating between the students and the Udacity Connect team.
4. Reporting to Udacity the weekly overall attendance status of students & observations about each session.
5. Being present at every Connect session over Zoom, helping students introduce themselves, organizing students in groups and keeping track of time.
6. Explaining concepts of the Nanodegree program to your group of students when needed.
7. Solving questions raised by students during the Connect session.
8. Reporting student's attendance and progress to the Mentor's dashboard.
9. Communicating with students on our community platform.
10. Weekly check-in with all students on their progress.
